I applied to four MBA programs: ISB, HEC Paris, Cambridge Judge, and NYU Stern. I got admitted into ISB, HEC Paris, and Cambridge Judge, and Admit Expert played a huge role in helping me through what was honestly a very chaotic application journey.
I decided to sign up with Admit Expert because of the clarity I received even before formally starting with them. Aadarsh counselled me over 2-3 sessions on what it takes to get into a good B-school, and Aseem, the founder, personally went through my profile and gave me very cut-throat advice on what was and wasn’t possible with my profile and expected GMAT score.
At the time, I had not even taken the GMAT yet, but I really appreciated Aseem making it clear that, based on my profile, I would need a certain minimum score of XXX to stand a real chance at admission. That honesty mattered to me because I was, after all, quite hellbent on doing an MBA only from a reputed brand. It helped me set a clear target and work towards achieving it.
I got onboarded with Admit Expert in late December 2025, a couple days before new years, when deadlines were already fast approaching. Because I had started very late, I could not realistically apply to a broader set of US MBA colleges, and that was one of the first realities the team helped me come to terms with. They helped me shortlist B-schools based on my profile, GMAT score, personal criteria, and the upcoming R2/R3 deadlines; we eventually narrowed the list down to 4schools, all 4 with January deadlines between the 5th and 25th. With only a few weeks to spare and all four deadlines falling within days of each other, we were really on a time crunch.
For additional context, I was working at an investment bank while applying, so managing work timings and applications was very difficult. But the entire team at Admit Expert was extremely supportive throughout and helped me make steady progress, even when the process felt overwhelming.
Another reason I would strongly recommend Admit Expert is their flexibility. Before beginning school-specific applications, they connect you with various B-school alumni consultants until you find someone you feel is the right consultant for you. I personally really liked the first two people I spoke to: Prateek, an alum from a European college, and Rahul, an ISB alum. I felt both of them were suitable for different school choices, and Aseem agreed to pair me up accordingly.
You may notice that each consultant has a different style, but they are all focused on helping you submit the best possible version of yourself in your application. Prateek, Rahul, and later Stuti all brought their own ways of approaching the process, and each of them helped me think more clearly about my story and how to present it.
After my Cambridge application, Prateek unfortunately fell ill. While he is doing well now, I had to prepare for my HEC application, and Admit Expert eventually put me on to another consultant, Stuti. She was also fantastic and had her own style of approaching the application. I believe that, at the time, Stuti herself wasn’t very familiar with HEC’s application style, but that goes to show that all their consultants understand what schools are really on the lookout for.
The person who intermediated my entire chaotic application journey was Sudha, my coordinator and a Top-B School alum. She was tasked with ensuring that the consultants responded, that their data quality team reviewed my application quickly, and that I made systematic progress across all my applications. She is very easy to talk to, incredibly supportive, and honestly a lot of fun to speak with during the process. Most notably, she will tell you what and what not to worry about at any given point, which made the whole journey so much more bearable.
One thing I would add is that these consultants are often professionals who work full-time elsewhere and choose to consult future aspirants out of pure passion. So yes, at times it might feel difficult to get hold of them immediately. But they are trying their best, typically respond within around 36 hours, and once you find your rhythm with them, the value they bring is immense. They give you highly actionable, non-sugar-coated inputs that help keep your expectations grounded in reality while still helping you put your best foot forward.
All of this ultimately culminated in me securing three admits, from ISB, HEC Paris, and Cambridge Judge. Looking back, I honestly wish I had had the conversations that I had with Aseem, Sudha, Prateek, Rahul and Stuti a lot sooner. Had I started earlier, I may have even had time to secure scholarships : )
