Hello, I am Swayanjeet Sorte, an Instrumentation Engineer graduated from Mumbai University with professional experience across diverse industries. Over the past five years, I have worked with companies such as LTTS and HPCL, gaining expertise in operations, engineering, and sales.
After taking the GMAT, I came across a consultancy called Admit Expert through the GMAT Club. Their sales professional provided an overview of their plans and connected me with Mr. Aseem Bansal and other relevant personnel to address my college-specific queries before I decided to enroll in their services. My dream course was the EPGP program at IIM Bangalore. However, the team advised me that my GMAT score might not be competitive enough for admission. Determined to improve my chances, I decided to retake the GMAT. Unfortunately, despite two more attempts, my score did not improve significantly. Nevertheless, I chose to take a chance and apply to IIM Bangalore. I opted for a two-school package from Admit Expert, though I had yet to finalize my second choice.
Mr. Deepesh Mohan, who had a similar profile to mine, was assigned as my lead consultant. We had multiple brainstorming sessions for my application, and he was highly proactive in guiding me through the process. Together, we conducted two in-depth brainstorming sessions followed by several proofreading rounds. To my surprise, I received an interview call from IIM Bangalore. We then shifted our focus to preparing for the WAT and interview rounds. While the preparation went well, the interview itself was quite unusual—it lasted barely ten minutes, and I could already anticipate the outcome.
Following this, I decided to apply for the EPGP program at IIM Indore. Since I was already well-prepared, the application process was swift. I received an interview call, which was conducted online, but unfortunately, I was unable to convert it into an admission offer.
Meanwhile, I had also independently applied to the DEM course at IIM Udaipur. The work I had done for my IIM Bangalore application proved beneficial in this process. I successfully cleared the interview and am now preparing to join the program.
